The chess table is primarily for children wishing to improve their game...
The chess table is located at the Summerside Farmer’s Market
(250 Water St.), and is open to anyone of any age and or skill level. The Farmer’s Market is held every Saturday, from 9am-1pm.
The chess table can be found in the newer part of the Farmer’s Market. Come in the door (from outside), and look to the end of the room (or come in from the other part of the market, and look straight ahead). You will see tables, chairs, you might see people eating, but you will also see 2 chess boards, origami, and (most likely) you will find children playing chess.
but is open to anyone who wants to play chess.
Kids are free to stay at The chess table for as long as they like... even if what they're doing has nothing to do with chess or origami. The chess table exists to provide a safe space for children at the Farmer’s Market.
